Jimmy Wedding Joins Poly-Cast Engineering Team

Portland, OR: March 20, 2013

Poly-Cast, Inc., a leading Northwest manufacturer of injection molded plastic parts, is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Jimmy Wedding to its engineering team.

“Jimmy brings us a rare combination of technical design skills and plastics experience that will serve our customers well,” said Dan Leedom, Poly-Cast CEO.  “Our continuing investment in our engineering capabilities supports our objective to provide expert consultative design support to our customers for their most challenging plastics applications,” he added.

As a Tooling Engineer, Jimmy will design and test new tooling, optimize part designs, run mold-flow analyses and work with the customers and out manufacturing team on new product introduction.

“I grew up in the plastics industry, learning the ropes from my dad,”Jimmy said. “After that, I spent two years at a moldmaking company where I designed and built mold tooling, before going back to school to earn my BS in Mechanical Engineering.  I am really looking forward to be a part of the growing and developing engineering team at Poly-Cast.”

Jimmy is a graduate of Washington State University – Vancouver. In addition to his engineering degree, he also studied machine technology at Clark College.
